Slick’s Quick Hits: Rush ‘n Attack: Ex-Patriot

Looks like it might be time for Shadow Complex to give up its trophy as greatest XBLA title. This one will be on PSN as well, but looking at this gameplay trailer, I wouldn’t care what it came out on – I must own it. I always complain about the never ending stream of remakes coming out these days, but the validity of those beefs seem to more and more only apply to movies. This looks like a valid sequel to the old coin-op/NES classic. Judging from the buzz it is getting, I think you’ll agree.

This shit looks REALLY good. Let’s just hope that it’s not as ridiculously short as Shadow Complex.

Rush N Attack is the game that caused a lot of drama as a child for me personally, but I loved it as a game of course, when it was there.
Shit, I still have my NES advantage to use the turbo stabbing action.
