We are about to close out yet another year without Final Fantasy VII Remake or Kingdom Hearts III. Nintendo, in cooperation with Platinum Games is launching Xenoblade Chronicles 2 for the Switch. Square Enix had a strong lineup this year, but there is nothing present as a closer like last year's Final Fantasy XV. Instead, the company went diggin in the crates (again) to breathe new life into an older title. Fortunately for them, Star Ocean – The Last Hope has aged quite well.
