Fellow Queens Village native Thea Trinidad, also known as WWE Superstar Zelina Vega, has joined the Street Fighter 6 commentary team as the latest addition to the game’s real-time color commentary roster. A long-time Street Fighter fan, Thea adds her personality and style to Street Fighter 6’s growing list of color commentators.
Thea is a true fan of the Street Fighter franchise and showcases that fandom as a current WWE Superstar. She has even modeled her ring gear as Vega and, most recently, as Juri at the recent WWE Royal Rumble in San Antonio, Texas.
“I’ve been an avid gamer since I was a child and a huge fan of Street Fighter,” said Thea Trinidad. “I can still remember epic matches with my brother, and I would always beat him with my favorite character Vega. It’s surreal to now be a part of this amazing franchise, and I am honored and thankful for this once in a lifetime opportunity.”
