The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt was a generation-defining game that still captivates gamers today. With the upcoming launch of Cyberpunk 2077, CD Projekt RED wants to bring Geralt into the next generation. They have announced that their 2015 game of the year classic is coming to next-gen consoles. Including the base game and both expansions, Geralt makes his way to PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X. The enhanced version will also be available to PC gamers.

This version of the game will include features that will become commonplace in this upcoming gaming generation. Ray tracing, faster loading times, graphical improvements and higher resolution, to name a few. Expect to see these improvements across the base game, both expansions, and all extra content. The next generation edition of The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt will be available as a standalone purchase on PC, Xbox Series X and PlayStation 5. It will come as a free update for current owners of the game on PC, Xbox One or PlayStation 4.
