Luis and I got acquainted thanks to the magic of Best Buy. My wife worked with Luis and we shared some similar interests. Luis and I kept in touch via social media and he’s been killing it with his sports coverage at Fansided so it was inevitable that he would be featured in this column. Check out the Toys & Tech of the Trade that help Luis work and play.

Who are you and what do you do?: My name is Luis Tirado Jr. and I’m the current Expert (Editor) of TheJetPress.com as well as a Contributor on NFLSpinZone.com, both on the FanSided network. I’ve been writing for over 16 years now, ranging from professional wrestling, baseball, and now primarily the NFL/Fantasy Football.

Base of operations a/k/a home: Mostly at home on my desktop computer but I am a walking office as well thanks to my iPad and HP Spectre Laptop.

Current mobile device: iPhone 6s

What do you like/dislike the most about your current mobile device?: Nothing really, I love that it’s simple and easy to use. I’m mostly a texting/social media kind of guy. It does everything I need it to do and quickly, which is great.

Three mobile apps you can’t live without: Twitter, Bleacher Report, Facebook.

Current Laptop or desktop: HP Spectre Laptop & iPad.

Most used program/programs on laptop/desktop: Google Chrome, League of Legends, iTunes.

Show us your desktop:

First place you go when you open your phone or log into your computer: Twitter on my iPhone, Google Chrome when on my computer.

One website you recommend to people often: Twitter.com – it’s the best social media platform in the world, it has everything anyone could need in one place.

Favorite piece of tech besides your phone/computer: My Apple Watch. I get all my sports/Twitter updates quickly and easily. It also helps me stay organized and focused on my daily agenda.

What’s playing in the background while you work?: I love metal, so most of the time, probably 90% of the time actually, it’s Apple Music blasting my favorite bands. \m/

Gamer?: Absolutely, just wish I had a bit more time to game as much as I’d like. Been loving League of Legends and of course, Madden on PS4!

What are you playing?: Trying to play competitive LoL which is a phenomenal game in my opinion. Love playing against people and making all sorts of new friends. The community is one of the best I’ve seen in years. Reminds me of how World of WarCraft use to be back in the day when I played.

Last gaming purchase: A $25 League of Legends points card, have to get more skins!

What item have you purchased recently that is less than $100 that has made your life easier or more enjoyable: Coffee! I love getting bags of coffee beans from Starbucks that help me stay awake at night to get all my articles done. Love coffee as it relaxes me and again keeps me awake. 🙂

We’ve covered the tech so let’s hear about some toys. Any toys or collectibles you’re currently obsessing over? I love music as I recently upgraded all my stuff over the past month. Got the newest Bose wireless headphones that are so great, whenever I listen to Slayer, for example, it’s a whole new experience. Truly an amazing pair of headphones and I also got the Bose wireless SoundLink Color sound dock so I can rock out when getting ready to write or work!

Favorite toy /collectible from your childhood and favorite toy/collectible you currently own: I’m a huge football fan so I’d say all my football figurines and collectibles. I’m a huge fan of bobbleheads and miniature helmets. Lately, I’ve been loving those Pop! Funko bobbleheads. LoL, I love my Freddy Krueger, Superman, and Scarface ones just for example.

Who you like to see featured in a future column?: I’m a huge fan of your work as I love reading columns with others in our industry. You’d be surprised how different yet the same we all are, regardless of what we write/blog/speak about.

Where can people find your work and connect with you? Thank you for the opportunity! Below is all my information to find my work and connect!
