1st Impression: The Curse of La Llorona is the latest entry in the James Wan “Conjuring Universe” and it looks to continue the trend of jump scare features that Wan and Co. have released over the years. The trailer overall has plenty of suspense and while it does use a few horror tropes we've seen before it still manages to keep my interest piqued. The Nun, Annabelle, and The Conjuring have all been solid films and I think The Curse of La Llorona will be no different. It also helps that films like this have small budgets so box office success at times is pretty much a guarantee.
