1st Impression: The Kaiju king returns to the big screen next year and he is not alone. Fans came away impressed with the first Godzilla film and while I was among them the film did have its missteps. The second film looks to focus more on the new monsters and their battle with Godzilla with sprinklings of the human element to move things along.
Fans will be seeing Mothra, Rodan and longtime Godzilla Nemesis King Ghidorah in this upcoming film and you get glimpses of them in the trailer. If you missed Kong: Skull Island's post-credit scene then you missed the teaser for these monsters that ties everything together thanks to Monarch.
The special effects shown in the trailer truly demonstrate the apocalyptic proportions of all these monsters and how the human race is just cannon fodder for these massive creatures. The White House scene alone drives that point home.
As a long time Godzilla fan I am happy to see so much excitement for this film.
