Yesterday I shared my thoughts on Snow White and the Huntsman and in that post I mentioned that the other Snow White film was going to make things interesting when it was released. This my friends is that “other” Snow White film. I am inclined to say that this interpretation of the story appears less appealing then Snow White and the Huntsman. Sure, I think that Kristen Stewart is an emotionless zombie but the storytelling in that film seems more evolved and the darker tone is a far departure from a live action Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs which will definitely get audiences interested. Mirror Mirror pours all its creative energy into making audiences believe in Julia Roberts portrayal of the evil queen and does nothing to make fans care about Snow White which may prove to be detrimental in the long run. We’ll find out next year if this adventure comedy can be more successful than its darker counterpart.Check out the trailer and let me know if you agree.
