The earlier teaser for Riddick gave me hope that this film would return to the dark, gritty roots that fans enjoyed in Pitch Black. Riddick definitely looks to be a welcome departure from the from Chronicles of Riddick which while a decent film lost the edge that gave Pitch Black such a cult following and gave gamers and pretty solid FPS title as well. If this is the final chapter in the Riddick saga I am glad its returned to its roots. Who’s looking forward to the next chapter in the Riddick saga? Sound off in the comments.
