Diamond Select Debuts New Marvel & Mortal Kombat Busts This Week

Last updated:

When we visited our friends at Diamond Select back in February during Toy Fair we saw some amazing statues and busts and as 2020 chugs along more and more of them are finally starting to hit store shelves. Of course, given the current crisis they may not be physical shelves but virtual ones.

This week Diamond Select shipped out some stellar busts with something for Marvel fans and Mortal Kombat fans. The first piece is a Wolverine bust based on his look during the 90s X-Men cartoon that aired on Fox.

This six-inch Wolverine bust is limited to only 3,000 pieces and includes a certificate of authenticity. The bust was designed by Barry Bradfield and sculpted by Joe Menna. The suggested retail price will be $59.99

If you're an MCU or Thanos fan then you definitely want to get your hands on the brand new 1/2 scale Thanos bust.

This massive 11-inch bust was designed by Joe Allard and sculpted by Rocco Tartamella and is part of the Legends in 3-D line and captures the Mad Titan's look from Avengers: Endgame. This piece will be super limited with only 1,000 pieces being made. It will come with a certificate of authenticity and have a suggested retail price of $174.99

Last but certainly not least is the Mortal Kombat Sub-Zero bust which if you follow RAGE Works on Instagram you saw during Toy Fair.

This 1/2 scale bust is part of the 3-D Legends line much like the Thanos bust and is also designed by Joe Allard with Salvador Gomes handling the sculpting duties. The Sub-Zero bust will include a certificate of authenticity and will be limited to 1,000 pieces. The suggested retail price will be $149.99

All three of these busts are available for purchase right now directly from Diamond Select and at any of your favorite local comic and specialty shops. Which one will you be adding to your collection?

If you have access to a local shop and don't want to wait on shipping definitely support your local comic book and specialty shops. With local business hurting due to the pandemic every purchase at your local shops ensure their survival.
