We wanted to start off August with our new feature called Hitting The Shelves. We share a lot of Diamond Select news and rather than trying to come up with a catchy title was opted to just create a feature to showcase all the dope stuff hitting your local comic book and specialty shops this week. Diamond Select checked off the collector box for many different fandoms this week including Marvel, DC, and Star Wars plus a few bonus ones as well. Let’s get to the collectibles.
Castlevania Action Figures | Series 2
The hit Netflix series gets its second wave of figures from Diamond Select with Dracula and his generals taking center stage. Fans of the series will be able to pick up Dracula, Carmilla, and Godbrand in stores starting today and directly from Diamond Select. All three characters will have up to 16 points of articulation along with interchangeable parts and accessories. Each figure is designed by Eamon O’ Donoghue and sculpted by Richard Force. The full-wave will have a suggested retail price of $19.99 each.
DC Comic Gallery Penguin PVC Diorama
The DC Gallery line is a favorite amongst our colleagues from Nerd News Today, and two of Batman’s rogues are joining the lin.e The first is Oswald Cobblepot, aka The Penguin. Caesar designed this PVC diorama with sculpting handled by Alterton. This PVC diorama will have the usual $49.99 price tag.
DC Comic Gallery Poison Ivy PVC Diorama
Joining The Penguin is fan-favorite Poison Ivy. This nine-inch tall diorama captures Poison Ivy’s iconic comic book look. The diorama is designed by Shawn Knapp and sculpted by James Marsano. This diorama was previously a GameStop exclusive that has now been made available to all retailers. The suggested retail price will be $49.99.
