Final Fantasy Explorers, the upcoming 3DS action-RPG from Square Enix is looking to be a dream game for fans of the series. We already know that you will be able to catch and fight alongside monsters as both you and they level up. We know that you can team up with up to three friends via the local WiFi and we know that at various points in the game you can transform into major characters from main titles in the series. We have even seen footage of fights against classic Eidolons like Shiva, Ifrit, Odin and Bahamut. To accomplish all of these feats, Final Fantasy Explorers will employ the famous job system and there are 21 job classes to choose from. Final Fantasy Explorers is expected to launch in North America on January 26, 2016 for $39.99, but there’s more! You may want to save up some extra scratch because the Square Enix online store has an exclusive Collector’s Edition for $69.99 that actually looks to be worth the price!

As you can see, Final Fantasy Explorers CE includes the game, a 20-track soundtrack CD, an artbook, and a themed hard case to protect your 3DS. On top of that, you will receive a code unlocking four extra quests that will lead to special weapons from previous games. The quests will unlock for use:
- Venus Gospel from Final Fantasy VII
- Death Penalty from Dirge of Cerberus: Final Fantasy VII
- Crimson Blitz from Lightning Returns: Final Fantasy XIII
- Thyrus from Final Fantasy XIV
That is quite a haul! If they bundled it wit ha special New 3DS XL, I would be all over it already! Final Fantasy fans are going to have a lot to occupy them while waiting for FFXV and the FFVII remake, so look forward to the adventure!
