Logitech has been increasing their company offerings at a pretty rapid pace. It feels like only yesterday that I shared the news of them acquiring Astro and their premium line of headsets and yesterday they announced that they would be acquiring Blue Microphones for approximately $117 million in cash.
If you are a podcaster or streamer then Blue Microphones are a brand you will know quite well. Many of my fellow content creators have used Blue Snowball or Yeti mics for their content creation endeavors and even our good friend JVB creates content with the more advanced Blue Spark. Logitech’s cash acquisition of Blue makes things interesting for content creators since Logitech makes solid products without breaking the bank too badly.
