If you have watched as many horror films as I have you will realize that most have very simple plots that emphasize bloodshed over story most times. Every once in awhile though a horror film comes along that underneath all the bloodshed actually delivers a solid plot and even a lesson or two. The Mist is one of those films. Frank Darabont took a solid Stephen King story and delivered something unique and quite different then most horror fare. The ending of this film is one of the most powerful endings I’ve seen in a long time and it would have been a travesty to not share this unique film with you guys.
