June is in full swing in this installment of New Releases This Week. Once again, we have quite a crop of games. Movies, on the other hand, are even lighter than last week. Let's get right into gaming as we have choices for fans of racing, sims, Marvel and RPGs this week.

Dark Rose Valkyrie
Dark Rose Valkyrie comes exclusively to PlayStation 4 on June 6.
A mysterious virus discovered from the meteorite called the Black Garnet. In exchange for giving those infected intelligence and power far surpassing humans, it eats away at their mind at body, and recreates them into inhuman creatures known as Chimera.
Dubbed the Chimera Virus, this virus causes a worldwide pandemic, and the world loses 3% of its total population.
In order to combat this imminent threat, the covert military agency ACID (Anti-Chimera Interception Divison) creates Special Force Valkyrie.
Asahi Shiramine was chosen and appointed as the captain of this newly created unit.
On his way to the base, Asahi, unarmed, runs into a Chimera. Force members rushed to the scene and helped him repel the enemy threat. As a result, this sudden battle proved both this force's usefulness, as well as Asahi's abilities.
Asahi and the other force members grow excited over their victory. However, they had no way of knowing what harsh fate awaited them…

On the entertainment end of New Releases This Week, we have a decent amount of upcoming home releases. New movies in theater however, are pretty scarce. Considering that we are officially in the “summer blockbuster” period, you would think there would be a larger selection.
A Cure for Wellness
A young executive (Dane DeHaan) must travel to an isolated spa in the Swiss Alps in order to find and bring home the CEO of his company. But when he begins digging into the truth behind the resort's supposed “miracle cures,” the staff diagnose him with the same affliction that has left the other guests trapped there.
A construction foreman (Arnold Schwarzenegger) is overwhelmed with grief when his wife and daughter are killed in a midair collision. Disgusted by the fact that nobody will take responsibility or apologize for the incident, he eventually seeks revenge on the air-traffic controller who was on duty that day (Scoot McNairy).

A joint task force consisting of law-enforcement agents from China, Thailand, Laos, and Myanmar investigate an attack on two commercial ships sailing along the Mekong River. In the process, they learn that the crime is connected to a powerful drug cartel.
