Sony unveiled a new slim and trim PS Vita at a press conference in Japan that is not only 20% thinner but also comes in a wide assortment of new colors (white, black, blue, yellow, pink and olive-green).
The new model in addition to being 20% thinner will also be 15% lighter than the current PS Vita. The new PS Vita switches out its OLED screen for a new LCD display which I am sure is a factor in the improved battery life which now yields six hours of power. US fans will have to wait to get their hands on these new systems since they are launching in Japan first. If you would like to import a system the scheduled release date is October 10th.
