While IK Multimedia is bringing this to the market to aid in the reopening of the music industry per their press release, they made sure to note that many more industries can use this device. The device requires no unique setup, and it comes with a rechargeable battery that provides over one week of battery life. The Safe Spacer can be worn on a wristband, lanyard, or even carried in a pocket, and it features NFC contactless technology along with Bluetooth to minimize handling.
