The Making of Styx: Shards of Darkness

Styx, a character from the game "Shards of Darkness," is holding a sword in front of a glowing object.

If Deadpool were played by a scrawny, green Danny Devito, you would basically have Styx the goblin. In Master of Shadows, you had a bitter, irritable little turd of a goblin trying to hit the motherlode of Amber. With that task out of the way, Styx seems to be more of a happy asshole these days. In Styx: Shards of Darkness, we see our antihero breaking the fourth wall, making kill puns and quipping at enemies. We also see a lot more of the stealth that made the first game great.

Styx: Shards of darkness - taunt

In the new video, the developers talk about who Styx is. They also show us a lot more of what Styx can do and give a glimpse into the co-op. Stealth is the name of the game more so than in the original game. Hitman fans should keep an eye on this one. Styx: Shards of Darkness has more to explore than the first game. There is more mystery, more conspiracy and of course, more murder.

Get your hands on Styx: Shards of Darkness March 14, 2017. The game will be available on PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
