When we last left Dom and his “family” they were scattered across the world enjoying the spoils from their heist. It seems the enjoyment is short-lived as Dom( Vin Diesel) and his crew get recruited by Hobbs (Dwayne Johnson) to stop a crew of mercenary drivers lead by someone from Dom’s past. While the super bowl teaser did a good job of getting people hype I think this trailer succeeded in fleshing out the plot. I did call the obligatory Gina Carano vs. Michelle Rodriguez fight which we get a glimpse of. I have to admit the progression of the Fast & Furious franchise from car porn to heist flick has really breathed new life into a series that I thought was on its last legs after Tokyo Drift. Fast & Furious 6 hits theaters May 24, 2013.
