A few months back actor/director Michael Jai White stopped by MTR to discuss his recent projects and one of the first things we discussed was his involvement in the reimagining of the Mortal Kombat series. The project was so well received that many expected it to make its way to the silver screen but instead we are treated to a web series that Mike announced during his appearance.We can only hope it leads to a big screen adaptation using this new “take” on the series.I feel that this story has a lot of grit and potential to bring the MK universe back into the spotlight.
