Gentle Giant Unveils SDCC 2020 @Home Marvel & Star Wars Exclusives

The traditional San Diego Comic-Con may not be happening this year but SDCC is still making its presence felt this summer with their San Diego Comic-Con @Home event and much like a traditional comic-con the @home experience is expected to have its fair share of exclusive. Gentle Giant is kicking things off two SDCC 2020 exclusives.

Star Wars Boba Fett Concept 1/6 Scale Bust

Star Wars fans will love this new Boba Fett bust that captures the concept of the legendary bounty hunter in all his glory based on the designs of Joe Johnston and Ralph McQuarrie. The 1/6 scale bust will come with two alternate helmet designs that represent the different design ideas Johnston and McQuarrie had. The piece will be a Gentle Giant exclusive that can only be purchased through them. At a limit of 500 pieces, this one is a can't miss. Each bust is numbered and will include a certificate of authenticity with a retail price of $120.00. Gentle Giant Premier Guild members will get the first crack at this piece with different tiers to follow. The general public release for this piece will be on July 20th at 9 AM ET.

Marvel Animated Style Elektra Statue (White Outfit)

On the Marvel side of things, Gentle Giant is showing love to Elektra this year with a white outfit variant based on Skottie Young's cover art much like the Deadpool piece we shared earlier this week. This five-inch tall statue will be limited to 250 pieces and much like the Boba Fett bust will come numbered and with a certificate of authenticity. This statue will only be available through Gentle Giant and will cost $49.99

The pivot to virtual events has created some great opportunities for fans to score some otherwise hard to get collectibles. While this may be the new normal for now I know many of you miss the traditional San Diego Comic-Con. Will you be picking up either of these great pieces? Let us know in the comments section.
