Console Recommendation
- Wii U: While the Xbox One and PS4 has some amazing deals this holiday season, I can’t help but recommend the Wii U. Neither the Xbox One nor the PS4 are must have’s considering their library of games while the Wii U is becoming hard to ignore. If you pick up a Wii U this season, Smash Bros. for the Wii U and Mario Kart 8 are must owns.
Game Recommendations
- Tales of Xillia (PS3): Tales of Xillia made me feel like a kid again playing Kingdom Hearts 2 for the first time. If you’re a fan of the JRPG genre but hate the clichés that have become associated with them, check out Tales of Xillia. Action packed and hilarious, Tales of Xillia is one tale you won’t want to miss. (Checkout Tales of Xillia 2 if you liked the first.)
- Halo: The Master Chief Collection (Xbox One): The sole reason I’ll be buying an Xbox One this holiday season is for Halo and The Master Chief Collection. Being able to play Halo CE, Halo 2, Halo 3, and Halo 4’s campaign multiplayer modes all on one disc is a dream come true. Cash grab or not, The Master Chief Collection makes me want to give the covenant back their bomb, all over again.
- Smash Bros. (3DS): Being able to play Smash Bros. on the toilet is a no-brainer. A must own.
- Grand Theft Auto 5 ( PS4/Xbox One): Surprisingly all my recommendations are current gen games that are remakes of the last generation, but who cares. With the graphical improvements and first person mode, Los Santos is worth revisiting.
