1st Impression:
Comic books and anime go hand in hand and while we've seen some of the industry's most iconic characters get the anime treatment DC's Dark Knight has never been tackled. That changed with the announcement and Japanese trailer for Batman Ninja back in December. That trailer showcased some impressive visuals and the approach taken with Batman and his characters did not need translation to wow both comic book and anime fans.

Batman Ninja definitely takes Batman's animated adventures into unfamiliar territory but and the gamble may pay off and lead to other DC characters getting the anime treatment. The Ninja Scroll style look of the film definitely got my attention and will make this a day one purchase for me.

I hope Batman Ninja continues the recent string of great animated features from DC and Warner Bros.

What did you guys think of the trailer? Will you be adding the film to your collection?
